WHAT IS EMULATOR

Emulators are a class of softwares that allow one android system, the host, to simulate a different operating system, in order to run an application meant for the foreign system.

Android emulators are Android softwares or apps designed to play console games.

Emulation addresses the original hardware and software environment of the digital object, and recreates it on a current machine.

The emulator allows the user to have access to any kind of application or
operating system on a current platform , while the software runs as it did in its original environment.

Emulator brings the old consoles to life.
now you can play with your phone in your own convenience.

N64 emulators

Nintendo 64 / N 64 Roms
The N64 is one of the most controversial consoles ever made. Ok so it’s not as controversial as the Virtual Boy, but there was one simple thing that set it apart: cartridges. “Carts” have many disadvantages. Firstly, they are very expensive to produce (some say almost 25 dollars!) compared to the discs used in the PSX and the ill fated Saturn, which drove away many 3rd party developers. Secondly, they are much smaller than discs, and games cannot span multiple carts which was severely limiting, particularly to RPG makers (though some great RPGs such as Paper Mario were made for it and resident evil 2 was successfully ported over on one of the later more advanced carts). Finally, Audio was tricky to do well (though it was possible to do fantastic audio (i.e. Perfect Dark) and video quality couldn’t compare to the PSX. So why did they use carts? Well, the most obvious advantage is the lack of loading times. This is excellent from an artistic standpoint, particularly for large sprawling games like Legend of Zelda or Super Mario 64 which would be infernally dull if a new loading time was introduced every 5 seconds. Also, extra RAM could be stored in cartridges allowing for more complex games (though the amount of RAM was obviously limited by cost). Lastly, while CDs are very easily damaged and scratched, cartridges can last pretty much forever.
Despite these unbalanced facts, along with a terrible controller (though it was the first successful system to use an analog stick and rumble, which makes emulation unsuitable for many games unless a joystick or joypad is used) the N64 is considered by many to be the best Nintendo system ever made due to it’s massive catalogue of innovative and fun games (in fact it was recently voted the best system period on G4Techtv’s Filter).

▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

N64oid

Description
N64oid is the very famous Nintendo 64 emulator optimized for Android. It is a port of Mupen64plus, along with Ari64′s ARM dynarec (and gles2N64 as an option).
* Run most games smoothly at a reasonable speed (if not full speed) with sound. This requires you have a high-end device (Nexus-S, Galaxy-S, Xoom, etc).
* Good game compatibility compared to other N64 emulators running on mobile devices. And most likely more issues will be fixed in future updates.
* Save/load game states at ANY points, as well as in-game save support. Save files are fully compatible with Mupen64plus on PC.
* A configurable, translucent on-screen keypad that is very easy to use.
* Key mappings to map game keys to hardware buttons.
* Option to use the G-sensor as the analog stick.
* A variety of settings that you can tune on your needs.
*System requirement*
- Android 2.0 or above
- ARMv7 compatible CPU
- OpenGL-ES 2.0

MegaN64

The description of MegaN64 (N64 Emulator)
MegaN64 is a very fast N64 emulator. Play your favorite N64 games on your phone!
You need to place your own game files onto the SD card before running this N64 Emulator.
MegaN64 is a modified version of the Open Source project Mupen64+, which is licensed by GNU GPL v3. Modifications include performance enhancements for specific Phone Models such as the Nexus 4 and the Galaxy S4 and small UI improvements.
If you like MegaN64, please donate to the developers of Mupen64+ by purchasing the app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … upen64plus

PSP emulator

Play PSP games on your Android device, at high definition with extra features!
PPSSPP is the best, original and only PSP* emulator for Android. It runs a lot of games, but depending on the power of your device all may not run at full speed.
Galaxy S7 is not currently supported, fix coming soon.
No games are included with this download. Dump your own real PSP games and turn them into .ISO or .CSO files, or simply play free homebrew games, which are available online. Put those in /PSP/GAME on your SD card / USB storage.
This is an ad-supported free version, get PPSSPP Gold instead to avoid ads and support future development.
Some games that work (not all will run full speed on all devices):
Persona 2, Persona 3 Portable
Dragon Ball Z
Little Big Planet
Burnout Legends, Burnout Dominator
Final Fantasy : Crisis Core
Final Fantasy : Type-0
Monster Hunter 2 Unite and 3: HD Remake
Soul Calibur
Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6
Grand Theft Auto LCS / VCS
Lumines
Worms
Wipeout
and many more…
See http://www.ppsspp.org for more information.
Please note that ARMv6-based devices may have various kinds of issues, and more modern devices are recommended.
* PSP is a trademark of Sony, Inc.

download it here

PlayStation 1 or psx emulator.

The PlayStation was one of the most iconic gaming systems ever released and with it came a slew of legendary games. It dominated the fifth generation of game consoles by a fairly hefty margin when it came to sales, and many franchises, including Final Fantasy, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Tekken, Spyro, Madden, and many others saw fantastic mainstream success. If you played those games as a kid and want to play them again, then here are the best PlayStation emulators for Android right now.
▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄
1.
ePSXe

ePSXe is arguably one of the two best PlayStation emulators out there. This one tends to be a bit easier to use. It's also highly stable. It also supports split-screen mode, save and load states, customizable controls, hardware controller support, and OpenGL enhanced graphics. There are also some plugins that add additional features. This is one that you should pick if you want something that just works right out of the box. The only downside is that you can't try it before you buy it. That means you'll have to test it inside of the given refund time.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … psxe.ePSXe
▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

2.
FPse.

FPse is the other of the two biggest PlayStation emulators on Android. This one is highly customizable. It features the basic stuff like save and load states, customizable controls, high compatibility, and hardware controller support. However, it also has a range of advanced options, plugins, and extras that help you make the games play just right. You can opt for better graphics or better game play depending on your device. Like ePSXe, this one doesn't have a free version to try. Thus, you'll have to test it inside of its refund time.

get it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … lator.fpse
▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

3.
Matsu.

Matsu is a lot like ClassicBoy. It's a multi-console emulator. This one supports PlayStation, SNES, NES, SEGA Genesis, Game Gear, and a few others. Like most multi-console emulators, no one emulator is perfect. However, they all work well enough to consider going with a solo app. The app supports the usual array of emulator features. The free version is supported by advertising. You can get rid of it by buying the pro version. It's not the most stable of the PlayStation emulators, but it's a good free option if you can handle theads.

download here

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … o.retrobox

▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

sega megadrive/genesis

1.
gensoid is one of the best Sega megadrive emulator. download it here.
  👇
https://gensoid.en.uptodown.com/android/download

you can also search on Google Play.

▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

2.
AndroGens is one of the older SEGA Genesis emulators.
The app stopped getting updates for a while, but it's back to being relevant again.

It boasts a 99.9% compatibility rate with SEGA games.

It also has customizable on-screen buttons, physical controller support, save states, and more.

You can find more complex emulators with more features.
However,
this one is excellent for those who just need the basics.
The paid version is also relatively inexpensive in case you're low on money.

download on play store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … .androgens

or search on other websites

▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

3.
Ggens.

gGens is a moderately successful emulator for SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive.

It has a limited set of features, including save states and button layout customization.

It is also based on the MD.emu open source code.

That means it should have most of the same features.
The biggest complaint we found was the advertising.
It's totally free, but that means there is no way to remove the ads.
Other than that, this is one of the solid SEGA Genesis emulators.

download it here

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … n.gamegens

▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

4.
MD. emu

MD.emu is probably the best solution for SEGA Genesis emulators.
It's an open source project that most other SEGA Genesis emulators are based off of.

This one works with SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive games as well as SEGA CD and Mark III games.
This makes it the most versatile emulator of the group.
It also has the longest list of additional features, including hardware controller support, support for cheat codes, auto-saving, and support for various controller setups.
It’s the one we’d recommend that you start with because it seems to be the most complete.

get it here

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … lpha.MdEmu
▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄︻▄

FIRST APPS YOU SHOULD INSTALL IF YOU HAVE A NEW ANDROID PHONE

These are the best apps that will serve and give you more extensional features than the actual system apps.

1. ES FILE EXPLORER
Best file manager app with beautiful features like ricycle bin, checking of ram consuming apps, archiving and unarchiving of a file.
this app beats the actual phone file manager.

2.
Difference between Hard reset and Soft reset

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HARD RESET AND SOFT RESET.

People... you are confusing reset with

reboot terminology.

The reason for the word HARD is because

hardware buttons or battery is used.

The reason for the word SOFT is because

software (the ROM, firmware, settings) is

used.

Resets wipe all data to clear bugs.

Rebooted justs reboot the phone. Same

computer terminology just apply it to

smart phones....

Soft reboot/boot - power off phone with

power key

Hard reboot/boot - remove battery while

phone is on. Can't do this with RAZR so

just hit power key + volume down key to

simulate a battery pull.

Soft master reset - settings - privacy -

factory reset

Hard master reset - power off phone - turn

on phone - hold volume down and power

key as phone turns on - enter fast boot

mode - use volume down key to select

recovery mode - android image appears

hit bottom right corner for menu - scroll

down to factory reset / wipe option.

- hit OK - hit yes Android RAZR resets itself

to factory - when done it will prompt you to reboot - hit reboot system now. ....

bam that's a DROID RAZR hard master reset.....

it should only be done of you cannot

access settings in the stock ROM or custom ROM!!!!!!!
